Dromahair hit by double loss

Dromahair’s championship hopes have been hit by the news that they are losing county stars Paddy McGowan and Kevin Conlan.

Dromahair’s championship hopes have been hit by the news that they are losing county stars Paddy McGowan and Kevin Conlan.

McGowan suffered a cruciate injury against Armagh while Conlan is believed to be travelling to the US but you would still expect that they should overcome their neighbours from Manor but only after a particualrly tough battle.

Glenfarne/Kilty will get nothing easy from an unlucky Ballinaglera side, it is a game that could easily end up in a draw but you would have to expect Glenfarne to win here.

Both Aughnasheelin and Drumkeerin can book their places in the quarter-finals with a win over Leitrim Gaels and Fenagh St. Caillin’s respectively. Fenagh will improve after a disastrous showing in the first round and the Gaels are struggling in intermediate but you’d still expect the two favoured teams to come through here, leaving a winner takes all battle in the final round
