3 mins: Emlyn Mulligan converts his first free of the day after a foul on Brendan Brennan.

5 mins: Glencar/Manor’s first score comes thanks to a James Glancy free after a foul on Aaron Hickey.

7 mins: Gerry Hickey draws Manor level when a long free is knocked down to him for the score.

14 mins: Brendan Brennan edges the Gaels back in front with a magnificent point from the right sideline, some 45 yards out after a quick sideline ball.

15 mins: Mulligan gets his first from play, easily turning his man to sweep over from 40 yards.

17 mins: Melvin Gaels mood takes a turn for the worse as captain David McSharry is forced from the game with injury, Peter McGowan replacing him.

23 mins: GOAL – after a six minute delay to get David McSharry off the field, Mulligan’s free hits the post and is gathered by James Phelan who turns nicely and drives a great shot into the net, via the underneath of the crossbar.

26 mins: The first yellow of the game when Paul Brennan is yellow carded for a high foul on James Glancy. Further dissent sees the free moved in and James Glancy converts from in front of the posts.

18 mins: Aaron Hickey is yellow carded for a foul on Paul Brennan.

19 mins: Melvin Gaels lead by three after James Phelan is put free and he fists over.

23 mins: GOAL – Emlyn Mulligan takes a shot that drops short with Jesse McGuinness challenging the keeper and a defender, the ball breaks kindly with McGuinness, on his back, somehow getting the ball to the net with a hint of a throw.

26 mins: James Phelan is yellow carded for a rugby tackle on Paddy Maguire and two minutes later, Pat Gilmartin is lucky to receive just a yellow card after a foul.
