Replay fixed for Hyde Park

The Connacht GAA Council have announced that the replay of Sunday’s Connacht Senior Championship Semi-Final will take place in Dr Hyde Park, Rosocmmon with a 3.40 pm throw-in.

The Connacht GAA Council have announced that the replay of Sunday’s Connacht Senior Championship Semi-Final will take place in Dr Hyde Park, Rosocmmon with a 3.40 pm throw-in.

Speculation had been rife that the game would be planned in London but with Ruislip not cleared to hold any game with a crowd in excess of 2,500, the Conancht Council have fixed the game for Roscommon, an ironic twist as it comes a week after the famed venue was ruled unable to host a possible Connacht Final.

The game will be preceeded by the Connacht Minor Championship Semi-Final between Mayo and Galway and should draw another big crowd after an attendance of 7.968 in Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada on Sunday.
