Ladies survive scare in Wexford showdown

A semi-final spot in this year’s Bord Gais Energy League Division 3 was all but assured for Leitrim before last Sunday’s game with Wexford but Leitrim would still have been hot favourites to beat a side who were struggling, having won only one of their five previous games. However, form went out the window and Leitrim had to come from behind to secure a late victory.
