The new Centre of Excellence in Annaduff will prove to be “the catalyst for better things to come for all our players representing Leitrim in the future at all levels” according to Leitrim GAA County Board Development Officer Pat Feely.
In his report to tonight’s Convention, Pat writes “Our Centre of excellence at Annaduff continues to make progress and was open to all county panels for training and Games this season. A lot of work has been carried out on the two pitches.
“Drainage and irrigation work was completed and the grass is growing very well all year. The floodlights are also sorted and working well with good reports from those who have played under the lights that visibility is excellent. Work has started to finish the dressing rooms and main building.”
“As each and every one involved in Leitrim GAA will know this was a major venture for us all but when this centre of excellence is fully finished it will prove to be the catalyst for better things to come for all our players representing Leitrim in the future at all levels.”
