Captain Donal Wrynn is hoping that Leitrim can make home advantage count on Saturday when Connacht Champions Roscommon visit Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada for the Provincial Semi-Final.
Speaking before the clash on Saturday, Donal said that playing for Leitrim in Pairc Sean was a dream growing up - "You ask any young kid in Leitrim who is playing a bit of football, their ambition is to play Championship football with Leitrim in Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada.
"Home advantage yeah but Roscommon would be fairly familiar with this place, they played here in the League. Hopefully it will be an advantage to us but it is not something we can rely on or count on."
And the Saturday night game makes for an interesting encounter according to the captain - "Saturday night is something different, we play on Saturday nights in the Qualifiers and our club games are Saturday evenings. Hopefully our usual support will be there and we might get a few more out but the Champions League Final may take a few."
