Interested in helping develop the future stars of Leitrim GAA? Well Leitrim GAA are seeking applications for the role of Games Development Administrator.
Leitrim GAA, in conjunction with the Connacht GAA, have advertised for the role of Games Development Administrator with a deadline of 1 pm this Friday, June 1, for receipt of applications.
The new GDA will have responsibility for overseeing the implementation of agreed GAA games development policies and programmes within County Leitrim. Based in Páirc Seán Mac Diarmada and reporting to the County Games Development Manager, the post holder will be required to work 39 hours per week, which will include weekends and evenings, and the hours may vary depending on workload and seasonal changes.
Criteria for the post include at least three years experience working in the GAA or similar sporting organisation in a voluntary or professional capacity, relevant third level qualification and experience of coaching and development in Gaelic games.
Applicants must own their own car with a full clean driving licence and have completed the GAA Child Protection in Sport Awareness/Safeguarding 1 programme while the ability to work and attend evening and weekend meetings/activities in addition to normal day to day activities is required while the post is also subject to Garda vetting..

At the moment, the Leitrim Games Development team comprises the County Games Development Manager, two full-time GDA’s and a number of voluntary personnel, and will work to deliver the goals and objectives of the County Games Development Plan.
