AvantCard Pairc Sean MacDiarmad to host All-Ireland Club Championship semi-final

If you're planning on doing your shopping in Carrick-on-Shannon this Saturday, better get it done early as a bumper crowd is expected for the All-Ireland Senior Club Championship Semi-Final.

Avantcard Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada hosts the meeting of Galway's Corofin and Donegal's Gaobh Dobhair with a 1.30pm throw-in and thousands of fans from both counties are expected to throng Carrick for the match which is being televised live on TG4.

With high volumes of traffic expected in and around Carrick motorists are warned to give themselves extra time and to plan their journey well in advance.
