A newly expanded Hastings Cup will see 12 counties compete in three groups of four with Leitrim drawn in the same group as Tipperary, Meath and Wicklow.

The first game will see Leitrim take on the 2011 All-Ireland Minor Champions Tipperary at home but they face trips to both Meath and Wicklow in the following weeks.

The top team from each group along with the best second placed team will qualify for semi-finals with the other two second place teams contesting the Shield Final.
