Leitrim go for a rare Connacht League title next Saturday in Tuam when they take on Galway in the last game of the Minor League (3.30 throw-in).

Galway lead the League by a point but victory would see Enda Lyons unbeaten team snatch the title and the Leitrim manager is looking forward to the challenge posed by the Tribesmen.

“Galway represent a massive challenge for us,” said Enda, “We’ve gone unbeaten and anything can happen on Saturday, we’re really looking forward to next week, the boys are buzzing.”

“Overall the result is whats key and we’re on a winning run in the Minor League, we’re going to Tuam next Saturday looking for a Connacht Minor League title.”

And the Leitrim boss hopes this team can recover after a tough and demanding victory over Mayo last Saturday - “The players need to get a bit of break, relax and be committed to this week, both physically and mentally, and we’ll see what happens on Saturday.”
