Battle of champions in Senior Semi-Finals

The draw for the Connacht Gold Senior Championship Semi-Finals will see the 2014 Championship and League winners battle it out for a place in this year’s Final.

The draw for the Connacht Gold Senior Championship Semi-Finals will see the 2014 Championship and League winners battle it out for a place in this year’s Final.

Defending champions Aughawillan will face League winners Glencar/Manorhamilton in an intriguing semi-final on the weekend of September 5-6, while an impressive Mohill will take on neighbours Gortletteragh in the other semi-final.

In the Fox’s Monumentals Intermediate Semi-Finals, favourites Melvin Gaels will take on Fenagh St. Caillin’s while Aughnasheelin must wait until Sunday to see if they will face a Conor Beirne inspired Eslin or neighbours Ballinamore Sean O’Heslin’s in the other semi-final.

The eagerly awaited replay of the Eslin and Ballinamore Sean O’Heslin’s quarter-final will take place next Sunday morning in Cloone with a 12 noon throw-in while next weekend will also see the Senior and Intermediate relegation semi-finals.
