Football Qualifiers draw next Monday

Leitrim will find out their opponents in the first round of the All-Ireland Football Championship Qualifier next Monday when the draw is made live on RTE Radio.

Leitrim will find out their opponents in the first round of the All-Ireland Football Championship Qualifier next Monday when the draw is made live on RTE Radio.

The draw, which features two separate pools for the first time, will take place in the presence of GAA President Liam O’Neill at approximately 8.35 am on Monday morning with Leitrim featuring in Pool B.

Possible opponents for Leitrim in Pool B include Westmeath, Louth or Kildare, Carlow or Meath, Down, Armagh or Cavan, Monaghan or Tyrone and Clare or Waterford.

The first named team drawn out of the hat will have home advantage with the exception of Tyrone and Pool B games will take place on Saturday, June 28, with venues, times and dates to be confirmed by CCCC on Tuesday, June 10.

The June 28, game will clash with Leitrim’s Connacht Minor Championship Semi-Final meeting with Roscommon on the same day with Roscommon having home advantage.
