Following the Roscommon Under 21 football teams’ qualification for the All-Ireland Final, Roscommon GAA has designated Friday, May 4, as “Rossie Day” in the county.

On that day the people of County Roscommon are asked to wear their county colours, put up a flag or bunting and make a voluntary donation of €2 to the Roscommon U-21 Team Training Fund.

All businesses, shops, factories, schools, and other work places who take part will be acknowledged in the local press and on county board Website.

In addition, and to further assist in the participation of Gaelic Games by school children, Roscommon GAA will hold a draw among all Schools that participate in “Rossie Day”. E-mail rossieday@gaaroscommon.ie.
