On Saturday week last our U- 15 squad took part in the Dermot Earley blitz in Castlebar. After winning their group they rounded off the day by winning their final. This was a great conclusion to the playing season for these young lads. The following was the panel for the Dermot Earley blitz:

Luke Shierdan, Eoin Killelea (Glencar/Manorhamilton), Michael Gallagher (Melvin Gaels), Pierce Dolan (Aughawillian), Darren Keegan (Cloone), Kevin Flynn, Ronan Gordon (Mohill), Owen Dolan (Kiltubrid), Sean Muldowney (Bornacoola), Donal Feely (Sean O’Heslin’s), Jamie Stenson (Eslin), Alan McTague (Allen Gaels), Ryan O’Rourke (Fenagh St. Caillin’s), David Bruen (Leitrim Gaels), Dylan Mimna (Drumreilly), Conor Cullen, Jack McGirl (Aughnasheelin), Cian McHugh, Robbie Cunningham (Dromahair).

Three of the panel (Daniel Hackett Carrigallen, Jack Heslin Gortletteragh and Fintan Fitzpatrick Aughnasheelin) are out injured at present and are wished speedy recoveries.

Congrats also to our U-14 squad who on Sunday last travelled to Blessington to take part in and win a tournament organised by Wicklow coaching games. See Match reports.

Our hurling squads will conclude their season on Saturday next when our U-14 squad take part in the Connolly/Cunniffe blitz in Padraig Pearse’s GAA grounds Woodmount.
