Bornacoola’s Damien Moran makes a catch against Sligo last Sunday in Ballinamore. The Bornacoola man is one of several new faces tried out by new manager Sean Hagan over the course of the FBD Connacht League and looks set to win a place in the squad, starting both games against Galway and Sligo.

Bornacoola’s Damien Moran makes a catch against Sligo last Sunday in Ballinamore. The Bornacoola man is one of several new faces tried out by new manager Sean Hagan over the course of the FBD Connacht League and looks set to win a place in the squad, starting both games against Galway and Sligo.

Hagan is due to reduce the squad in the coming weeks but with the likes of Donal Wrynne (DCU), Alan Wynne (GMIT), Micheal McWeeney (Sligo IT) and some more players to come back into contention such as Gortletteragh’s Ciaran Egan, the Longford native will have a tough job in trimming the squad down.
