All of the 16 boxes in South Donegal have been tallied. This area includes Bundoran, Ballyshannon and Ballintra.
Martin Kenny (SF) leads with 1215 votes (29%), followed by Frank Feighan (FG) at 619 (15%).
Martin Kenny and Frank Feighan are in an increasingly strong position to retain their Dáil seats.
Next is Edel McSharry (FF) and Marian Harkin (IND) with 12 and 11 percent respectively.
Marian Harkin made some gains, having scored seven percent in Sligo tallies and 11 percent in South Donegal.
In past General Elections, Harkin has done well on transfers.
With the exception of Edel McSharry, Fianna Fáil performed quote poorly in South Donegal tallies, with the three candidates securing a total of 16%.
There was less popularity for smaller parties and Independents in South Donegal compared to Sligo tallies by 10 percent.
