List of local organisations to receive support with energy bills

Louth to get €1.5 million from Community Recognition Fund

Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys TD, and Minister of State, Joe O’Brien TD, have today (Friday, 27 January) announced the second tranche of successful applicants under the €10 million Community and Voluntary Energy Support Scheme (CVESS).

 

Under the initiative, some 238 organisations from across the community and voluntary sector will receive a one-off contribution towards their increased energy bills for 2022.

 

Payments will begin to issue to organisations immediately. 

Locally groups to receive funding are:

Ballinamore Area Community Council CLG - €829
Kinlough Community Development Company CLG - €1,229
Tullaghan Development Association CLG - €416
Killargue Community Development Association - €484
Bornacoola Community Development Association - €915
Rowanberry Enterprises Company Limited By Guarantee - €1,527
Fenagh Development Company Company Limited By Guarantee - €2,011
The Organic Centre Company Limited By Guarantee - €1,690

St. Ronan's Hall Community Company, Roscommon -  €868
