Mary’s Laundry and Dry Cleaners, Cortober Carrick-on-Shannon has been open for 11 years and its success has grown year after year since the beginning.
Business owner Mary Igoe said she decided to open the laundrette 11 years ago after she felt there was an opening in the county town for an extra dry cleaning business.

Mary had plenty of experience in the service and chose the location which provided her with room to expand, excellent visibility and most importantly lots of parking!
Originally from Co Mayo, Mary admits starting the business originally was a “hard slog” but bit by bit; she attracted more customers and commercial business which allowed her to expand and employ more staff.
Mary’s Laundry and Dry Cleaners now hires five people, some are full time and some are part time, and they are very busy all year round.

The laundrette offers a quick, efficient and professional turn around on all items and you can choose from Mary's washing, drying, pressing, ironing, dry cleaning, commercial bundles and public service.
Mary and her experienced staff provide a proficient service and offer experienced advice on the care of delicate garments and fabrics for all their customers.
Mary says they are busy all year around but the Summer months can be the most demanding as apartments and accommodation facilities desire a quick turn around on their linen.
Open Monday - Friday 9.30am - 5.30pm and Saturday 10am - 4pm.
