Keith Beirne named as Grand Marshall for Mohill parade

Acclaimed Leitrim and Mohill footballer, Keith Beirne will serve as Grand Marshal of Mohill's 2023 St Patrick's Day Parade.

All roads lead to Mohill this St Patrick's Day for the big parade. This year the parade will be starting from outside Baxter's Centra on Station road and all floats are asked to be lined up for 3.45pm to be ready to start for 4pm.

This year the parade will be lead by the Kiltubrid Pipe Band. This year we are delighted to have one of Mohill’s best sports heroes of all time Keith Beirne to be Grand Marshal.

John Lynch of Ocean FM and one of the country's best sports presenters will be on hand to help out as MC alongside Thomas Mulligan.

Local dignitaries will be attending on the reviewing stand. Local girl Saoirse McWeeney will be entertaining the crowd with some great songs. Kids face painting will also be available on the day.

So keep this St Patrick's Day free to join us in Mohill at 4pm.

All floats are free of charge to enter and no registration is needed.
