Example of short term accommodation pods
Planning permission is being sought to construct 11 short term accommodation pods in Dromahair.
John Kelly has applied to Leitrim County Council for permission to construct 11 tourist pods. Four of which will be 2-bed and seven will be 1-bed pods. at Ardakip Beg, and Killananima, Dromahair.
The development also requires a site entrance, car park, reception and management building. The applicant also wishes to create walkways and a footbridge.
Accommodation pods have become popular with tourists and visitors with Drumheirney Woods in Leitrim Village already attracting much attention from visitors.
