Seachtain na Gaeilge at Lough Allen College.

Seachtain na Gaeilge
Bhain na daltaí taitneamh as seachtain na Gaeilge i mbliana. Rinne siad a lán imeachtaí i rith an féile seo!
Students from Lough Allen College had a busy Seachtain na Gaeilge. Every year group participated in a Tráth na gCeist, winners received Easter Eggs as prizes. Most year groups participated in a Céilí.
We have international students from Italy who really enjoyed learning the dances.
Students enjoyed wellbeing activities like making seanfhocal posters and St. Patrick’s Day cards.
Thank you to Ms Heeran who led a céilí in the GP Thursday evening. Thank you to Ms Brady who showed the TY students An Cailín Ciúin.
Also, a big thank you to Ms McMorrow and Ms Creaven for all their hard work to make this week so successful.
Home Economics
Our third year Home Economics students have completed their cookery exam on Wednesday 22nd of March. Well done to everyone of you. Ms Brady is very proud of you all.

Most year groups participated in a Céilí as part of Seachtain na Gaeilge.

Music Trip
Ms Loughlin and Ms Sharp brought our music students from second, third and fifth year to the National Concert Hall on Tuesday 21st of March.

Sports
Our U14 boys have been busy with matches alongside their coach Mr Flannery. Mr Toal and his team were unlucky in the semi-final soccer game against Grange. Mr Butler and his team played Elphin on Thursday, 23rd March. Our boys have been busy!
