Easter weekend closures at Sligo and Leitrim COVID-19 Vaccination Centres

New testing criteria implemented

COVID-19 vaccination centres will close for the Easter Bank Holiday weekend in Sligo and Leitrim.

Clinics in both counties are closed April 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th.

However, Sligo CVC will be operational once again on Tuesday, April 11th and Leitrim on Thursday, April 13th.

Primary doses of COVID-19 are available for those aged 6 months to 4 years, those aged 5 to 11 years and those aged 12 years and over.

Booster doses are available to those aged 12 years and over. To check which booster vaccination schedule you are eligible for log on to https://www2.hse.ie/screening- and-vaccinations/covid-19- vaccine/get-the-vaccine/covid- 19-vaccine-booster-dose/

There are a number of options for those in Sligo Leitrim to get their vaccines over the next week.

To book your vaccination

Go to a walk-in COVID-19 booster clinic  
Book a COVID-19 booster appointment online at HSE vaccination clinics
Get your COVID-19 booster vaccine at a participating pharmacy, check the list of pharmacies or your GP

You can get your COVID-19 vaccinations in Sligo and Leitrim at the below times and dates:

Leitrim Vaccination Centre, North West Business Park and Technology park, Castlecarra road, Carrick on Shannon, N41 DP73

Thursday April 13th

9.30am to 10.30am – 6 months to 4 years

11am to 1pm – 12 years and over

1.45pm to 4.30pm – 12 years and over

Saturday 15th April

9.30am to 11am – 5 to 11 years

11.30am to 1pm – 12 years and over

1.45pm to 4.30pm – 12 years and over

9.30am to 12.45pm – 12 years and over

1.30 to 4.15pm – 12 years and over

11.30am to 2.30pm - 12yrs and over

3.15pm to 6.30pm - 12yrs and over 

Saturday 15th April

9.30am to 10.30am – 6 months to 4 years

11am to 1pm – 5 to 11 years

1.45pm to 4.30pm- 12 years and older

Sinead McConnell, General Manager, COVID-19 Vaccination Programme HSE Community Healthcare Cavan, Donegal, Leitrim, Monaghan, Sligo said: “Despite a short break for the Easter Bank Holiday weekend, COVID-19 vaccinations are continuing to be administered at Sligo and Leitrim CVC’s. Please ensure you are up to date with your vaccinations by attending any of our vaccination clinics.”
