Best Kept Town Competition
Carrick-on-Shannon has been nominated by the Department of Rural and Community Development to represent the Republic of Ireland in the All-Ireland Best Kept Town Competition. Our Town will be one of only two towns from the Northwest Region involved, so it is a great honour that we are chosen to represent our country.
Well done to Carrick Tidy Towns who have been doing so great work bringing our town to this nomination. We are appealing to all Shopkeepers, Business Owners, Hoteliers, School Principals, Homeowners to assist them in keeping Carrick in a pristine condition, keeping the front of your property presentable, neat and litter free.
Remember a clean and inviting town can only lead to more business as well as an inviting place to live and visit. Let’s all work together to make Carrick-on-Shannon the Best Kept Town in Ireland.
