Veronica Denning (nee Maguire), Drumauna, Drung, Co. Cavan, died 2nd May 2023, unexpectedly, at her residence. Predeceased by her parents John & Mary Maguire (Ballinamore). Beloved wife of Anthony and cherished mother of Seán and Liam. Will forever be missed by her husband and sons, her sister Dympna, brother Gene, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at her residence this Friday evening from 4.30pm to 8.30pm. Funeral cortège to arrive at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Drung for Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Saturday, which can be viewed live on www.churchtv.ie/Drung, with burial immediately afterwards in Drung Cemetery. House strictly private at all other times please.

Died on 30th April 2023. Missionary in Ireland, Kenya and Tanzania. Son of the late Catherine and James McEntire. Predeceased by his siblings Séamus, Tom, Maura, Seán and Myles. Deeply regretted by his nephews, nieces, cousins, Spiritan confrères and his many friends. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday morning (May 5th) in Holy Spirit Church, Kimmage Manor D12 WP44 at 11oc which may be viewed on the parish web camera at Holy Spirit Parish Church, Kimmage Manor followed by burial in Dardistown Cemetery.
James (Jim) Faulkner, Aughavas, Co Leitrim & New York/Florida
The death has occurred of James (Jim) Faulkner (US Navy Ret.) of Brooklyn New York and latterly of St. Augustine, Florida, who passed away on the 19th April 2023 at his home after a long illness bravely borne in the wonderful care of his grieving wife Mary (née Charles, Aughavas, Co. Leitrim). Predeceased by his daughter; Eileen Forrest, his parents and siblings. Deeply regretted by his three beloved grandkids, son-in-law, brother, sister, many nieces and nephews, extended family, colleagues, neighbours and friends in the Real Estate Business. A memorial mass will be celebrated for Jim on Monday, the 8th of May 2023, at 9.00am (American Time) in R.C. Church of St Anastasia, A1A, St Augustine, Florida, 32080 and will be live streamed. Interment to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery, Long Island, New York. The family appreciates your sympathy and support during this difficult time.
Mary Gallogley, Ballyshannon/Bundoran, Co Donegal
Mary Gallogley, nee McCloy, West Port, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal, retired owner of the Barbecue, Bundoran and Gallogley’s Jewellers. Peacefully, at the North West Hospice, Sligo, in the loving care of her family. Predeceased by her late husband Reggie and son Paul and baby daughter Catherine. Mary will be forever remembered by her daughter Leslie, son-in-law Declan and her grandchildren, James, Conor, Matthew, Lauren, Darragh, Diarmuid and Charlie. Mary will be sadly missed by Katrina, Deedee, her brother-in-law Fr. Vincent Gallogley of the Franciscan Friary, Rossnowlagh and extended family circle and friends. Reposing at the family home on Tuesday 9th from 12 noon to 9pm. Removal on Wednesday morning (10th May) from her family home at 10.30am to arrive at St. Joseph's Church, The Rock, Ballyshannon, for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am with interment in the adjoining cemetery. Kay Treanor (nee O’Connor), Luton, England / Croghan, Co Roscommon
Kay Treanor (nee O’Connor) Luton, England late late of Athygrannia, Croghan, Boyle, Co. Roscommon on 12th April, 2023, at her home in Luton surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Frank, mother Kathryn, father Charles and brother Gabriel. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving daughter Rachel, sons Kevin and Neil, daughter-in-law Sharon, son-in-law Nick, Neil’s partner Tracy, sisters Breege and Marguerite, brother Michael, brothers-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Requiem Mass on Friday, 5th May, in St. Joseph’s Church, Gardenia Avenue, Luton, LU3 2NS at 10.30am. Kay will be laid to rest afterwards in Vale Cemetery, Butterfield Green Road, Luton, LU2 8DD. Zrystyna Olasz (née Wengler), 8 Meadow Crest, Greatmeadow, Boyle, Co Roscommon and formerly of Kartuly, Poland on April 28th 2023, peacefully, at home. Krystyna is sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her devoted partner Grzegorz Bigus, daughters Jolanta Golucka and Barbara Krause, sisters, grandchildren, sons-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours, and friends. Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday, May 6th, at 11am in St. Joseph’s Church, Boyle. A private cremation will take place afterwards.
