A free interactive workshop will take place in The Dock, Carrick-on-Shannon on Friday, May 12
Sick of shouting the answers to your favourite gameshow at the TV? Well, Friday, May 12, at 7pm is your chance to sit in the hotseat.
Artist Laura Allcorn and researcher Jennifer Edmund are developing a gameshow for the AI era called ‘Who Wants To Write An Email?’, set to premiere in Autumn.
Just like the classic show, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, contestants will have to answer trivia questions, but this time about AI that can generate text based on a prompt. They'll use their lifelines and try their best to think like an algorithm to win hilarious prizes!
In this free, interactive workshop, you’ll get the chance to develop this upcoming show with them. You’ll test game show questions, play as a contestant, learn about AI and predictive text applications like ChatGPT, and talk about how you use modern technology.
The only requirements are to be 18+, curious about AI, and up for chatting about the weird things AI makes us say.
All attendees will receive a One4All voucher that should cover travel expenses.
