The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) O'Connor, Killaneen, Ballinamore, Co Leitrim / Moneygall, Co Tipperary on Sunday 4th June 2023, peacefully at the North West Hospice, Sligo. (Rtd. Garda Síochana). Predeceased by his parents Tim and Sadie O'Connor and his beloved son Brian. He will be sadly missed by his wife Marie, his sons Tadgh and Kevin and his daughter Carol, his brother Tim, sisters Noreen & Bríd, son-in-law Colm, daughter-in-law Aoife, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, his adored grandchildren Líle, Sibéal, Éanna & Rían, Aunt Mernie, extended family, former Garda colleagues, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing at Smith's Funeral Home High St., Ballinamore (N41 TD62) this Tuesday evening (6th June) from 5pm until 8pm. Removal from his residence on Wednesday morning arriving to St. Patrick's Church, Ballinamore, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in Oughteragh Cemetery. Survived and sadly missed by her husband Jim, her sons Brian and Seamus, daughters-in-law Carol and Jennifer, her five grandchildren, Hallie, Lola, Alison, Patrick and Arthur, her extended family, neighbours and friends. Teresa Glancy (McGreevy), Townabo, Hillstreet, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Roscommon (N41 R670) on Friday June 2nd 2023 in her 97th year, peacefully in the loving care of the caring staff of Drumderrig nursing home. Beloved wife of the late Frank. Sadly missed by her sons Sean and Michael and daughter Mary, daughters-in-law Lucy and Frances and son-in-law Gerard. Teresa will be forever in the hearts of her adored grandchildren Tracey, Louise, Peter, Orla, Proinsias, Aoife, Ronan, Deirdre and Conor, her great grandchildren Ódhrán, Conn and Nessa. Teresa, Fondly remembered by her relatives, neighbours, friends, wonderful carers and visitors that were so special to her in her later years. May her gentle soul Rest in Peace. Raymond Lavin on March 9th 2023 in Putney, London in his 95th year, formerly of Clonfeacle, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Leitrim. Predeceased by his sisters May Leonard and Margaret Callaghan and his brothers John, Jim and Mick Joe. Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins and his many friends. Burial will take place in Jamestown Cemetery on Saturday, June 10th at 2.00pm. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
