Leitrim area deaths - Monday, July 24v

Cora Kelly Drumlease, Dromahair, Leitrim / Drumkeerin, Leitrim

Kelly - Drumlease, Dromahair, Co. Leitrim and formerly of Main Street, Drumkeerin, Co. Leitrim, passed away peacefully in the care of the staff of Our Lady’s Hospital Manorhamilton, Cora, sadly missed by her nieces Patricia (Patsy Fitzpatrick) Glangevlin, Veronica (Vera Doran) Drumkeerin, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, neighbours and close friends.

Lottie Mc Gerty (née Cullen Doyle), Cornafest, Carrigallen, Leitrim

Mc Gerty Lottie (nee Cullen Doyle) Cornafest, Carrigallen, in the loving care of the Laurel Lodge Nursing Home Longford. Predeceased by her husband James (Jimmy) and brother Laurence. A very special person, she will be sadly missed by her sisters Imelda (USA) and Madeleine, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, wonderful neighbours and her many friends. 

John Gormley Drumhalla, Cloone, Leitrim

The death has occurred of John Gormley, Luton, UK and formerly of Drumhalla, Cloone, Co Leitrim Sunday July 9, 2023 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents: John Joe and Lizzie and his sisters; Mary and Betty. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his devoted wife Bernadette, son Kieran (Manaaz), daughters; Louise (Conor) and Kathryn (Ian), grandchildren; Erin, Rhys, Jacob, Harry and Nyah, brother Michael (Margaret), aunt Bridgie, mother in law Betty Ryan, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours, friends and a wide circle of his fellow GAA gaels.

Eileen Greenan, Drumcondra, Dublin / Fenagh, Leitrim

The death has occured of Eileen Greenan, Drumcondra, Dublin 9 and formerly of Foxfield, Fenagh, Co Leitrim.  Dearly beloved daughter of the late James J and Ellen, treasured sister of Fr Tommy SPS, Pat Joe and Margaret (O'Connor), sister-in-law of Peter and devoted auntie of Vincent, Aidan, Hilery, Elaine, Fionnuala, Dessie, Ray and Aisling. Fondly remembered by her grand nieces and grand nephews, cousins, large circle of neighbours, friends and work colleagues in the nursing profession of Beaumont Hospital. 

May their gentle soul Rest in Peace.
