Ballinamore AC supports the Family Festival 2023 with Junior Angling Competition - the event took place on Saturday, August 19.
According to the Ballinamore AC, it was a great day on the Canal with 20+ young anglers, NCFFI coach Colin Moffit and members Paul, Mick, Lee and Steve supporting the Festival committee in the running of the competition providing equipment and technical help for the competitors.
The club congratulates Samuelis Navickas, who won the competition and is now the proud holder of the perpetual cup donated by David McCabe of The Poor Scholar - Ballinamore and the fish trophy he gets for keeps donated by the Gallagher Bros.
Ballinamore Angling Club are a member of the National Coarse Fishing Federation of Ireland and will work on future events to address the local appetite for fishing.
