Leitrim area deaths - Monday, October 16

Noeleen McElroy (née Smyth), Tarmonbarry, Roscommon / Mohill, Leitrim / Tarmonbarry, Longford

The death has occurred of Noeleen McElroy (née Smyth) of Whitehall, Tarmonbarry, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Drumcauskeen, Mohill, Co.Leitrim, Thursday 12 October 2023, peacefully in the Mater ICU with her family by her side.  Predeceased by her parents; Eugene and Bridget, sisters; Kathleen Campbell (Drumlish), and Margaret Maguire (Kildalkey).  Deeply regretted by her heartbroken husband; Paul, sons; Glenn and Morgan, her sister; Mary Rose Reilly, Glenn's partner; Sarah, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law; Debbie, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. 

Sr. Ann O'Mahony, Marist Convent, Carrick-on-Shannon, Leitrim / Skibbereen, Cork

Friday, 13 October 2023, peacefully, at Sligo University Hospital, surrounded by her Marist family. Predeceased by parents Jerome and Bridie, her sister Beth and brother Florence. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sisters Mary McCarthy and Teresa Sharkey, nieces, nephews, grandnephews, grandnieces her Marist family, especially her missionary family in Fiji, Australia and Africa, relatives and many friends.

May their gentle souls Rest in Peace.
