The Sinn Fein local election candidates with Martin Kenny TD and Chris MacManus MEP.
The Sinn Fein candidates to contest the 2024 Local Elections in Leitrim have been selected.
The four candidates who are representing Sinn Fein next year are sitting councillors Brendan Barry (Drumshanbo) in the Ballinamore Electoral Area, and Cllr Padraig Fallon (Drumkeerin) in the Manorhamilton Electoral Area.
They are now joined on the party ticket by Lisa Mulligan (Eslinbridge) in the Carrick-on-Shannon Electoral Area, and Roisín Kenny (Aughavas) in the Ballinamore Electoral Area.
Roisín Kenny is a sister of Sligo-Leitrim TD, Martin Kenny.
The Local Elections next year are expected to be held on Friday, June 7.
Leitrim County Council has 18 councillors, 6 from each of the Electoral Areas, and given its standing in national polls, Sinn Féin will be keen to increase its number in the Council Chamber.
