Leitrim area deaths – Tuesday, October 31

Michael (Mick) Cassidy, High Park, Dromard, Sligo / Carrick-on-Shannon, Leitrim

Formerly Annaghearly, Carrick-On-Shannon, Co. Leitrim. Predeceased by his father Michael in 2014. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing daughter Lola, step daughter Cori, his mother; Chris, Sisters; Karen and Tracy, brothers-In-law; Phil amd Andrew, his niece; Cadhla, nephews; Nathan and Matthew, his colleagues at University Hospital Sligo A and E, his band members and life long friends Ambrose and Wesley and larger circle of friends in Sligo and Leitrim.

John D Flynn, Cloghergrange, Carrick-on-Shannon, Leitrim / Kildalkey, Meath 

28 October 2023 (suddenly) at Sligo University Hospital. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Orla (née McGarry), adored children Alice, Cara and Leon, cherished son of Margaret and John, loving brother to Sinead (Lucan), Emma (Kildalkey) and Lorraine (Longford), mother-in-law Kathleen, sisters-in-law Fiona (Carlow) and Linda (Dublin), brothers-in-law Henry, Owen, Joe and Patrick (Carrick-on-Shannon), uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

John (Jack) Keville, Cloncoose , Longford Town, Longford / Annaduff, Leitrim / Clara, Offaly

John (Jack) Keville, formerly of Annaduff, Co. Leitrim and Clara, Co. Offaly, peacefully, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, following a short illness, surrounded by his loving family. Pre-deceased by his sister Anne and by his daughter-in-law Roz. Jack will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, wife Nora, daughter Linda Healy, sons Patrick and Bernard, cherished grandchildren James, Andrew, Alex, Jack and Lauren, daughter-in-law Cathy, son-in-law James, sister Moya, brothers Leo and Kieran, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Seamus McMorrow, Deerpark, Manorhamilton, Leitrim

Peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents James and Annie and sisters Peggy and Tessie. Seamus will be sadly missed by his loving wife Philomena, his children Regina (John), Anne (Pat), Clare, Damien (Tara), Martina (Brian), adored granddad of Annie, Gráinne, Kate, Martha, Jack, Isla, James, Henry, Grace and Ella, his wonderful carers, relatives, neighbours and friends. 

May their gentle souls Rest in Peace.
