Leitrim area deaths – Friday, November 03

Pat Flynn, Gowley, Keshcarrigan, Leitrim

The death has occurred of Pat Flynn Gowley, Thursday, November 02, peacefully in his 97th year at Sligo University Hospital. Predeceased by his brother Eddie, sisters Bridget (Bea) and Annie. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Peggy, sons Patrick and John, daughter-in-law Aisling, adored grandchildren Darren, Orla and Conor, his brother Dr. John (Barna,Galway), sister-in-law Shiela, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Sean Guckian, Lisnagea, Kilnagross, Carrick-on-Shannon, Leitrim

On 02 November 2023, peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Jane Ann, sister Mary, brothers Patsy and Micheal and nephew Sean. He will be sadly missed by his devoted family, loving wife Mai, children Enda, Padraig, Caroline, Donal, Siobhan and Colm, cherished grandchildren Mia, Noah, Sean Óg, Fionn, Peadar, Aodhán, Conor, Ciaran, Fergal and Ellie, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, sister Eileen McKenna, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Phyllis Walsh (née Foran), Island, Burnfort, Cork / Kilmurry, Cork / Leitrim

The death has taken place of Phyllis Walsh (nee Foran) (Retd N.T.), Island, Burnfort and formerly of Kilmurry and Leitrim, who passed away peacefully on November 01, at her residence. Beloved wife of Michael and dear mother of Colman, Brendan, Michelle (Mc Manus), Colette (Murphy) and the late baby Esther. Sadly missed by her loving husband, family, brother Tim, sisters Sheila and Anna, sons-in-law Brian and Ian, daughters-in-law Liz and Mary, grandchildren Robert, Darragh, Kevin, David, Ciarán, Fionnán, Niamh, Áine, Michael, Henry, Sinéad, Fionn and Julianne, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May their gentle souls Rest in Peace.
