For one night only at the Coleman Music Centre, members of the well-known Collis and Kearins family from Sligo will come together to perform a live concert on November 11 at 8pm.
This promises to be a lively evening of traditional music and song with Award-winning musicians.
It is quite unique for one family to have several All-Ireland Champions on a variety of instruments, which includes flute, fiddle, tin whistle, button accordion, concertina, bodhrán, singing and lilting.
Patricia, Deirdre and Fionnuala are the third generation of the Collins family of musicians and, together with their late father, Tom Collis (concert flute player), were members of the reformed Owenmore Ceili Band.
As established performers, Cian and Caoimhe Kearins continue the family tradition and have carved their own style of flute, fiddle and traditional singing. They will be joined on the night by Deirdre's husband, Sylvie Golden, Mayo, singer/ fiddle player and Cain's wife, Niamh O'Sullivan, Dublin, concertina.
An entertaining night of music and song is guaranteed. Early booking is advisable. Tickets €15. For Bookings, please call 071 9182599 or visit the Coleman Music Centre website at www.colemanirishmusic.com.
