Connacht action takes centre-stage over the coming weeks as Ballinamore Sean O'Heslins ladies seek to lift a provincial title next Saturday November 11, in Markievicz Park.

Ballinamore take on Sligo's Eoghan Rua from Easkey in the Connacht LGFA Intermediate Club Final (1pm throw-in) as they seek to emulate Glencar Manorhamilton in winning the title. O'Heslins beat Mayo's McHale Rovers to qualify for the final.

Next weekend also sees Annaduff venture over to Castlebar to take on Mayo's Kilmeena in the AIB Connacht Club Intermediate clash (2pm throw-in) on Sunday while Leitrim Senior champions  Mohill will be keeping a close eye on Hyde Park as they will face the winners of the clash of St Brigid's and Coolera Strandhill just a week later.

Glenfarne Kiltyclogher, the only Leitrim men's team with home advantage, will take on Owenmore Gaels of Sligo in the AIB Connacht Junior Championship on Sunday November 18, the same day as Mohill are on the road to Brigid's or Coolera Strandhill.

Unfortunately, St Brigid's bid to win the Connacht LGFA Junior Club title last Sunday in Boyle came to a frustrating end as missed chances and a slow start saw them lose out to Claremorris on a 2-13 to 2-8 scoreline, despite an impressive fightback.
