Country star Ciarán Rosney is now on his very first solo concert tour and will perform at Backstage Theatre on Sunday, January 14, at 8pm.
He will perform songs from his record albums, some of his own songs as well as songs from the “Glen Campbell Story” with a few instrumentals thrown in for good measure.
Ten years after the release of his hit recording ‘Willie’s Shoes’, the Offaly native artist has four highly acclaimed studio albums under his belt and numerous awards.
He has been regarded as one of Ireland’s best-loved country singers / songwriters and guitarists.
After launching his own band in 2018, Ciarán has gone from strength to strength, producing a number of hit songs, including ‘The Old Turf Sod’, ‘Back in My Heart Once Again’ (a self-penned song), ‘Found’, ‘Marie’s Wedding’ and in recent times ‘Green Green Grass’ and ‘Kiss Me’.
On this tour, he will have The Rosneys, consisting of his brother Stephen, wife Helen and their kids Jade, Like and Mark as his special guests.
