LEITRIM is one of three counties still being affected by power outages after the recent storms have battered the country.
Alongside Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal are the three counties worst affected by the storm in terms of electricity and in their most recent update the ESB say that there’s still 12,000 homes, farms and businesses remain without power yesterday evening, Wednesday.
With a peak of over 235,000 customers without electricity on Monday morning, ESB Networks teams have also been restoring power to additional customers who lost power yesterday as a result of Storm Jocelyn.
Crews from across the country are now being deployed in the worst affected areas to assist local colleagues.
