Stephen King (Fianna Fáil) has been added to the ticket in the Carrick-on-Shannon Local Electoral Area.
Fianna Fail has added Stephen King as a third candidate in the Carrick-on-Shannon Local Electoral Area in the upcoming local elections which will take place on Friday, June 7.
A native of Connemara, Co. Galway, he has been a proud resident of Carrick-on-Shannon and Co. Leitrim since 1992.
Married with three children, he currently works as a retained firefighter in the community and has done for the past 21 years.
Throughout his time in Carrick-on-Shannon Stephen has worked extensively in the service and retail sectors gathering a great insight of the area.
A lifelong member of Fianna Fail, he is the current chairman of the MJ McManus cumann in Carrick-on-Shannon, a role which he has held for the past decade.
Stephen says he will channel his energy and efforts into working for the people of the Carrick-on-Shannon LEA and beyond to give us a community we can all be proud of.
