Drumkeerin Drama Group host the hilarious comedy ‘The Maiden Aunt’

Excitement is mounting up as playgoers are looking forward to another outstanding play performance as Drumkeerin Drama Group stage the hilariously funny 3 Act Comedy “The Maiden Aunt” by Jimmy Keary in Drumkeerin Community Centre on Friday 24th, Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th May at 8.00pm, Doors open 7.15pm.

People still talk about how much they enjoyed last year's drama performance of “I'm the One for You,” also a Jimmy Keary comedy Drumkeerin Drama Group is confident that audiences will find “The Maiden Aunt” even funnier than last years production.

It is exceptionally funny with a great story and a lively cast to add to the crack. Returning to take a central role in this performance is Emma McHugh, who last acted in “A Wake in the West.”

Deirdre Devitt is also making a welcome return. People will recall her outstanding performance in Youth Drama productions.

Making his debut is the highly promising young actor Graham McTigue. A newcomer also is the talented John Brennan. We welcome John and family who have come to reside in Drumkeerin. John is also assisting in the play production.

Back with us again is Valerie Walsh, Mary Louise McCabe, Aaron Wynne and Ciaran Clancy, stars in last years memorable performance. Andy Redican is directing.

So audiences can look forward to another Drumkeerin Drama Group play performance that will be side splitting with laughter all the way.
