The annual Carrick-on-Shannon Rowing Club Regatta is set to take place this Sunday, with a busy day of rowing planned.
The Regatta will be held on the 500 metres stretch of water immediately south of the town bridge commencing at 9am and finishing at approximately 6pm.
The event is an exciting day for Carrick-on-Shannon, as hundreds of people are expected to turn out and watch the unmissable day of racing.
Carrick rowing club recently marked a "brilliant weekend" at the national rowing championships in Cork, with four rowing crews from the Leitrim club competing across the races.
