Family fun day at Leitrim’s St Patrick’s Hospital to support patient care

St Patrick's Community Hospital

The highly regarded St Patrick’s Community Hospital in Carrick-on-Shannon will be holding a family fun day on Sunday, September 15.

Funds raised from the event will go towards the Patient Comfort Fund. The Patient Comfort Fund supplies equipment and amenities needed to enhance patients comfort, as requested on individual needs.

The family fun day will kick off at 1pm and wrap up at 4pm. All events will be held indoors within the hospital.

There will be face painting, arts and crafts, and hair braiding for children, along with an owl display.

The Leitrim Male Choir will perform, alongside the Leitrim Ladies All-Ireland Champions who will also be in attendance and Áirc Damhsa Culture Club.

A raffle will be held with a variety of prizes such as hotel breaks, meals and vouchers.

Tickets for the raffle will be on sale for €5 on the day, or from any hospital staff member.

A car wash supported by Carrick-on-Shannon Fire Brigade will also take place from 1pm until 4pm on the GAA grounds of Pairc Seán Mac Diarmada.

The family fun day promises to be a fantastic event for all ages with plenty of activities to enjoy while supporting a great cause.
