'He was one sound man' - Tributes paid following sad death of beloved Leitrim man

Tributes have poured in following the sad and unexpected death of Tony Feely, late of Ard na Sí, Mohill, Co Leitrim.

Tony passed away on Saturday, February 22, unexpectedly at his home. He is predeceased by his loving wife Agnes and daughter Nuala.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his sons Colm, Alan and John, sisters Bernadette and Cora, daughters in law, Deirdre, Orla and Claire, grandchildren Oisín, Cuan, Caelan, Cara, Jack, Robyn, Luke and Ronan, dearest friend Eilish, relatives and friends.

Heartfelt condolences have been left on RIP.ie, from those who knew and fondly remembered Tony, with one mourner writing,

"Sincere sympathy to all the Feely family on your sad loss of Tony. He was one sound man. I did a lot of painting and paper hanging on his shop in Mohill he would come up front payment before the job was finished. He is in heaven and is at peace. rest in peace Tony."

Another wrote,

"Sincere sympathy to Colm, Alan, John and all the Feely family on the sad passing of your Dad. He was a gentleman. Thinking of you at this difficult time. May he rest in peace."

While another wrote,

"Our deepest sympathies to all the feely family on the death of Tony It was always a pleasure to meet Tony with his big smile he always wanted to know how everyone was doing in Drumlion. May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace."

Funeral Arrangements

Tony will be laid to rest today, Tuesday February 25, in St. Patrick's cemetery in Mohill.
