Councillor calls for update on a new bus shelter in Leitrim town

The official response said that bus stop arrangements in Ballinamore will be reviewed by the Active Travel department under the Bus Stop Enhancement Programme in 2025/2026.

Cllr Ita Reynolds Flynn asked Leitrim County Council for an update on the bus shelter in Ballinamore town saying that "presently there is a lot of congestion where the bus picks up at Maguires shop."
The official response said that bus stop arrangements in Ballinamore will be reviewed by the Active Travel department under the Bus Stop Enhancement Programme in 2025/2026. The Active Travel Department will be consulting with Local Link, Elected Members and businesses in this location during this process.
