The Saw Doctors will headline a major outdoor music festival at Lough Key Forest Park in Boyle next summer, as organisers confirmed the first acts for the 2026 event this week.
The Galway band will top the bill on Saturday night, with Hothouse Flowers also returning to the line-up and Jenny Greene set to headline the Sol Stage on Friday night inside the Moylurg Tower.
Legendary English guitarist Richard Thompson has also been confirmed, along with Irish singer-songwriter Paddy Casey, who will perform on the Queen Medb stage.
Other acts include Thumper, M(h)aol, Sexy Tadgh, The Complete Stone Roses, George Houston, Cronin, Seamie O’Dowd, These Charming Men, BabyRat, The Dark Well, David Geraghty of Bell X1, Steve Howard, James Biggins, Bannered Mare, Deirdre Cunningham, Mayfield Sound, Banbha and MacHenry and the Dog Roses.
The festival will run from 29–31 May 2026 and marks the fifth year of the event, with music across four stages at the forest park venue.
The event is aimed at over-20s but will allow children to attend when accompanied by adults. Outdoor activities at the park, including zip-lining and treetop walks, will also be open to festivalgoers.
Further acts are expected to be announced in the coming months.
