Manorhamilton is gearing up for a full-blown festive takeover as WinterFest returns for two weekends of Christmas markets, music and pure seasonal buzz. The town will come alive on December 13–14 and 20–21, with Main Street turned into a glittering run of stalls, lights and non-stop family fun.
WinterFest has quickly become one of North Leitrim’s standout Christmas traditions — a cosy, small-town festival with big atmosphere. There’ll be festive tunes pumping, craft makers selling handmade gifts, trays of sweet treats, and the kind of winter glow that makes you want to wander with a hot chocolate in hand.
Santa’s Grotto is the star attraction, offering bookable visits for families who want the full North Pole experience. Kids can meet Santa, grab a photo and leave with a wrapped surprise, while everyone else can drift through the markets or take in the live entertainment happening through the afternoons.
