Dermot Kennedy has announced Leitrim-Longford group, Amble, as special guests for his two landmark headline shows at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on the 11th and 12th of July this year.
The shows are the final shows of Kennedy’s 2026 Europe and UK tour, where he will showcase his third album Dermot Kennedy, ‘The Weight of the Woods’, out March 27th via Island Records.
The announcement follows news of Amble being shortlisted for the Irish Album of the Year on 2FM earlier this week, on the back of a successful year that saw them release their first Album ‘Reverie’ and open shows for Hozier during his world tour.
The bands' rise from pub gigs to sold-out arenas has been fuelled by the dedication of fans at home and abroad. Their debut album, Reverie, topped the Irish Album Chart across four non-consecutive weeks.
While their music has also clocked up over 115 million streams globally, they sold over 100k tickets worldwide last year.
Since forming in late 2022, the Leitrim- Longford group have built a reputation for honest songwriting, lush acoustic arrangements, and captivating live performances. Amble will also support Dermot Kennedy on his 2026 Europe and UK tour.
