Leitrim County Council has only received seven social housing units from developers since 2020 as part of the Part V rule.
The figures were revealed through a freedom of information request obtained by the Journal's investigation.
Part V is a stipulation in the Planning and Development Act 2000 that requires developers to come to an agreement with local authorities, which would provide a portion of social housing as part of new housing developments.
The actions were taken due to the failure of certain developers in the county to adhere to Part V of the Planning and Development Act 2000.
The figures show that Leitrim is one of the counties that benefit the least from Part V, alongside Roscommon (12 units), Cavan (11 units) and Leitrim (7 units).
The report showed that 60 planning enforcement actions against developers who did not comply with the regulation were registered across the country since 2020, according to the Journal Investigates.
80% of these actions were registered by Kerry County Council, Galway County Council and Louth County Council.
