Feelgood 60s hits coming to Island theatre

Music lovers are in for a nostalgic treat as the acclaimed Legends of the 60s Show arrives at The Island Theatre, Ballinamore on Friday, February 27, 2026.
Following a sellout debut tour that drew nightly standing ovations and rave reviews, the high-energy production promises a night packed with the unforgettable sounds of the 1960s. Featuring a multi award-winning all-star cast of musicians and singers Stephen, Raymond and Chris, the show delivers what organisers describe as the ultimate feelgood factor.
Audiences can expect to be transported back to the golden decade of music, reliving the hand-clapping, toe-tapping magic that defined a generation. Whether you’re revisiting cherished childhood memories or discovering the era your parents still talk about, this show promises a full-throttle celebration of the hits that shaped modern music.
The production features high-quality tributes to some of the greatest names in music history, including Elvis Presley, The Beatles, The Monkees, The Rolling Stones, Roy Orbison, Tom Jones, Cliff Richard, The Beach Boys and The Drifters, among many others.
In total, more than 40 iconic hit songs will be performed live in one electrifying evening, celebrating the timeless soundtrack of the sixties.
Audience feedback from previous performances has been glowing, with five-star reviews describing the show as “brilliant from start to finish” and promising to have crowds “on the edge of your seat all night.”
The show takes place on Friday, February 27, 2026. Doors open at 7pm, with the performance beginning at 8pm. The Crannóg Bar will be open on the night.
Tickets are priced at €28 plus booking fees and are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
