“The Elemental Hare” designed by Dromahair-based artist Rachel Webb is part of “Hares on the March” campaign to raise money for sick children supported by the Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation.
“The Elemental Hare” standing 3 foot and made of fibreglass is part of the campaign which involves 110 of these artistic hares on display at over 50 locations in Dublin for the next two months, for people to find and enjoy and possibly purchase via auction.
According to Rachel, “The bright decoration on this hare is inspired by the wonderful paintings of the Mexican Huichol people.” The design is based on the four elements with rocks, flowers, trees, water and the sun.
