Deaths in the Leitrim area - updated

The following deaths have occurred in the Leitrim area.

Brian Harkin, 3 West Bars, Glenfarne, Leitrim

The death has occurred of Brian Harkin, 3 West Bars, Glenfarne, Leitrim. Reposing at his home on Thursday from 2pm to 9pm. Removal on Friday morning to St Michaels' Church, Glenfarne to arrive for Funeral Mass at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family time on Friday morning please.

Eugene Martin, Toormore (Boher), Carrick-on-Shannon, Roscommon

The death has taken place of Eugene Martin, Toormore (Boher), Carrick-on-Shannon, Roscommon peacefully at Portiuncula Hospital Ballinasloe, Eugene (Gene), deeply regretted by his loving wife Bell, daughters Miriam and Frances, sons Brendan, Barry and Philip. daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Remains will be reposing on Thursday at his residence from 2pm until 5pm. House private from 5.00pm on Thursday evening. Removal to St Michael's Church, Drumlion arriving at 7.00pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 12 noon. Burial afterwards to Drumlion Cemetery.

Lena Morton, Cloncollow, Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan
Lena Morton (nee Henderson), Cloncollow, Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan. Tuesday, 4th October.(Peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Oak View Private Nursing Home in her 94th year. Predeceased by her husband Frank. Sadly missed by her son Kenneth, daughters Valerie and Mildred, son-in-law Robert, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, all the family circle, friends and neighbours.

Resting at the family home until removal on Friday afternoon at 1.30pm arriving at Tomregan Parish Church, Ballyconnell at 2pm for Funeral Service followed by burial in adjoining churchyard. Donations in lieu, if so desired, to Friends of Oak View Private Nursing Home, Belturbet c/o Clive Magee Funeral Director, Ballyhugh, Ballyconnell or any family member.
