Tractor stolen from Kinawley may be in the Republic

The PSNI are appealing for information following the report of the theft of a tractor from the Clonfane Road area of Kinawley, Co Fermanagh.

Inspector Hicks said, “Sometime between 9.30pm on Friday 14 October and 9am on Saturday 15 October a green John Deere 6430 tractor, along with an attachment mounted to its front, was stolen.

“I would appeal to anyone who may be able to help us identify its movements and any vehicles travelling with it to contact Enniskillen Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 433 of 15/10/16. Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111."

According to local reports the tractor was last spotted in the Belturbet area of Co Cavan and it is understood the criminal(s) drove the tractor across the border into the Republic of Ireland.

Contact the PSNI on +44 2890 650222 from the Republic of Ireland.
